Brandon, born just months before Dorit on February 23, 1993, in Arcadia, California, was the son of David Saul Mittman and Felice Carol Sencer. Himself a dedicated professional, Brandon pursued his education at Carnegie Mellon University, earning a BS in Civil Engineering before carving out a career as an Environmental Engineer. Their shared Jewish faith and complementary engineering professions formed a strong foundation for their union. Notably, Brandon carries the names of his ancestors, Brandon for his paternal great-grandfather and Stuart for his maternal great-grandmother, with his Hebrew name Beryl honoring his paternal great-grandfather, a testament to the enduring threads of family history.
