[157]LILA HYMANOn April 30, 1996, Lila Hyman of Wellington passed away after a short terminal illness. She was the devoted wife of Norman Hyman, caring mother of Shelly Friedman, Susan Fiskin, “Tickles & Junior,” and the late Peter Hyman; dear sister of Dr. Walter Sencer; sister-in-law of Phyllis Puritz and Helene Sencer.
Lila’s intelligence, charitable nature, and supreme organizational skills, especially at ORT, were assets that brought her innumerable friends. These friends and her family will mourn her passing with a service at Menorah Gardens and Funeral Chapels, 9321 Memorial Park Road, West Palm Beach, on Thursday, May 2, 1996, at 3 o’clock p.m. Lila’s good friend, Dr. William Amos, Jr., is flying here from Illinois to preside. Interment will follow.

[159]NORMAN HYMAN of Wellington passed away on August 10, 1996.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Sue Fiskin and Shelly Friedman; his sister, Phyllis Puritz; his mother, Dorothy; and his two adoring cats, “Tickles” and “Junior.” He is preceded in death by his late wife, Lila, and son, Peter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of the Mounts Botanical Garden. His unique sense of humor will be sorely missed. Services will be held at MENORAH GARDENS & FUNERAL CHAPELS, West Palm Beach, on Tuesday, August 13th at 11:30 a.m. (561) 627-2277.
