Norman Mittman, 86, beloved husband for 62 years of Marilyn, nee Minkus; loving father of Les (Susan), Zalman "Jerry" (Leorit), Ellen, Donald Mittman and Carolyn (Kirk) Liljewall; proud grandpa of Aaron, Talia (Scott), Will, Marissa, Alix, David, Yigal, Tuviah, Aliza (Daniel), Sima (Moshe), Chava (Yoel Leb) and Rivka; adoring great-grandfather of Ruchama, Ita and Shoshana; dear brother of Ben (Barbara) and Dr. Charles (Ilene); fond uncle of many. Professor of Mathematics for over 30 years at Northeastern Illinois University. Service Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Moriah Congregation, 200 Taub Dr., Deerfield. Interment at Jewish Oakridge Cemetery.
