Mrs. Ralph Mittman

Mrs. Jennie Mittman, 57, of 4155 N. Bernard Ave., wife of Ralph Mittman, owner of the Grand Leader department store at 2740 Cermak Rd., died yesterday in Mount Sinai Hospital. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Howard Shapiro, two grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Yetta Huebsch, three sisters, and a brother. Services will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the chapel at 1300 Devon Ave.

Services Tuesday, 3 p.m., at Weinstein Bros. Chapel, 1300 Devon. Interment Westlawn. Member of Congregation Beth Itzchok of Albany Park, Cong. Mikro Kodesh Anshe Tiktin, Masons and Oddfellows. Ralph Mittman

Ralph Mittman, 73, of 2801 W Summerdale Ave, who owned and operated the Grand Leader Department Store at 2740 W Cermak Rd from 1933 to 1958, died yesterday in his home. From 1958 until he died, he was a men’s wear buyer for Winner Sales Co. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Annette Shapiro; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother; and a sister. Services will be held at 3 p.m. in the 1300 W Devon Ave chapel.
