Aaron Balanoff, MD, grew up in Kansas City and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He then obtained his medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical School and completed his anesthesia training at Indiana University School of Medicine.
Dr. Balanoff became a Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at IU Medical School, teaching resident doctors for four years. He then joined a private practice group and has been there for many years. Dr. Balanoff is married with three children. He enjoys biking, watching various sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He finds great personal reward in using a medicine that has been part of his anesthesia practice for more than 20 years to potentially make a significant difference in people’s lives.
