Jay Mitchell Beyda’s love of dogs started before he could drive—the moment his mother dropped him and his German Shepherd Dog off at a dog show. That love continued until July 19th, 2012, when he passed away at the age of 57 after a long and successful career as a handler and breeder of Rottweilers and, more recently, an AKC Rottweiler Judge. He loved the world of Rottweilers and all the friends that it brought him.
He leaves behind his wife Marcia, sons Michael Beyda and David Boscoe, daughter Lisa Stitely, mother Ruth Beyda, brother Rick Beyda, Grandchildren Emilee, Andrew, Alexandra, Dominic, and several of his beloved Rottweilers.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to either the American Cancer Society or the Rottweiler Health Foundation. Donations to the RHF in Jay’s memory can be made to:
