[1083]Melvyn KayeService is todayMelvyn Kaye died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at the Gardens at Monroe, Monroe Township, N.J. He was 71.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. in the Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, Cranbury Road at Evergreen Boulevard, East Brunswick, N.J., followed by interment at the Freehold Jewish Cemetery, Freehold, N.J.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Kaye resided in East Brunswick, N.J., before moving to Monroe Township in 2009.
Before retiring in 2012, he was self-employed as a sales representative for Advantage Sales, New York, N.Y., where he worked for 50 years.
A U.S. Army veteran, he served during peacetime from 1962 to 1963.
Mr. Kaye was a member of “The Rams.”
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Sheila Bender Kaye; two sons, Steven and his wife, Jill, of Millstone Township, N.J., and Jeffrey of Pompano Beach, Fla.; a sister, Elaine Hohmann of Port Washington, N.Y.; and three grandchildren, Melissa, Dustin, and Jessica.
