Vincent R. DeBonis, 71, of Sparkill, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014.
Beloved husband of Julie (nee Figueroa). Loving father of Richard DeBonis and wife, Felicia, of Scotch Plains, New Jersey; Harry Cintron of Pearl River, and Brian DeBonis and wife, Melissa, of Tappan. Adored grandfather of Demi, Nico, Dean, Darby, JC, Emily, and Brendan. He was predeceased by his dear parents, Vincent and Anne.
Mr. DeBonis was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam.
He worked for Verizon in New York City, Pearl River, and White Plains before retiring after over thirty years of service.
Vincent was a devoted family man who cherished his time with his grandchildren. He was also a true “motorhead” and enjoyed his cars and motorcycles.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St John the Baptist R.C. Church, Piermont, with interment to follow in Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, New Jersey.
