SOLOMON ENGEL, 54, of 3006 E Cypress St, died Aug 17 after a heart attack in Santa Rosa, NM. He was the publisher of a monthly magazine, Arizona Civil Service News.
Rabbi Albert Plotkin and Cantor Maurice Chesler officiated at services on Aug 21 at Grimshaw Mortuary. Burial was in Beth Israel Cemetery.
Survivors include Mr. Engel’s widow, Rebecca; a son, Sheldon; and three daughters, Rosalie, Annette, and Glorianne, all of Phoenix.
