Anita Karpes, 85, of Hobe Sound, FL, formerly of Paterson, NJ passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009, after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Arnold Ricciardi, and three children, Greg Ricciardi of Union, Me, Gary and Shari Ricciardi of Palm City. FL, Wendi and Pete Viglione of Paterson, NJ, three granddaughters, Celeste Ricciardi of NY, NY, Darci Ricciardi of Orlando, FL, and Lily Van Steenburg of Union, Me.
She graduated from Eastside High School and the former Paterson State Teacher’s College. She was VP and co-owner (with her husband) of Brooks Moving & Storage in Paterson until retiring to Florida.
No services are planned.
