It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Randy Pollock. He spent his early years in Mortlach, Saskatchewan, and Sundre, Alberta. He moved to British Columbia in 1966. Randy is predeceased by his father Roy and is survived by his loving wife Janet, daughter Jennifer, son Sean, mother Marjorie, sisters Marilyn, Elaine (Terry), and sister-in-law Nancy, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Randy was a long-time employee with the City of Surrey and leaves behind many friends and acquaintances. He will be sadly missed by everyone. The family would like to thank the compassionate and caring staff and doctors at the Fraser Valley Cancer Clinic and Surrey Memorial Hospital who looked after him. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey, B.C. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to B.C. Cancer Foundation, 13750 - 96 Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia, V3V 1Z2.
