Bradley MittmanOBITUARYMittman, Bradley David, 57 years old, a respected physician and vocal artist, passed away on August 9th, 2023, surrounded by family, after a valiant battle against brain cancer. Born at Hoag Hospital, Brad grew up in Newport Beach. He attended Carden Hall, Servite High School, and Swarthmore College. He received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, followed by a Residency at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Society.
Predeceased by his mother, Sandra Eileen Mittman, and his father Leon (Lee) Raymond Mittman. Survived by his son Captain Andre Dylan Vertucio in the United States Air Force, his sisters Laurie Mittman-Moroch and Ashley S. Mittman, his nephew Tyler J. Moroch, his niece Madison L. Moroch, and his great-niece Naomi Moroch.
Throughout his 25-year tenure as a physician, Dr. Mittman made significant contributions to the medical community. His dedication to patient care, combined with his thirst for knowledge, prompted him to write a series of best-selling medical textbooks. Beyond his contributions to medicine, Brad had a diverse range of interests in technical analysis, project management, Fintech, and trading. A gifted singer and actor, he created over 3,000 YouTube videos, singing in over 16 languages. The wealth of knowledge that Dr. Brad Mittman imparted, the lives he healed, and the joy he brought through his artistic expression will be remembered. His legacy will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to cancer research organizations in Brad’s honor. Services will be private.
