It is with sadness that we announce the death of Godfrey Arnold on the 24th of November, following a short illness. A Chemical Engineer by profession and most recently a Principal of independent analysts at D&G Consulting, Godfrey spent most of his working life in the PVC industry, including with some of the largest manufacturers, where he was responsible for Pan European technical service and market development.
At the beginning of the UK’s PVC window industry, Godfrey was a founding member of the BPF Windows Group and a regular speaker at European PVC window market conferences. One of the industry’s true gents, Godfrey’s expertise, depth of knowledge, and commitment to the UK’s PVC window and door industry will be missed.
