My name is Andrew Button, and I am pursuing my PhD in the Biological Sciences at the University of Notre Dame. I graduated from DePauw University in 2022, majoring in Cellular and Molecular Biology and minoring in Computer Science and Music. I have lab experience in zebrafish genetics and sequencing. I also have extensive experience coding in Python, C++, and JavaScript for several robots at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in St. Louis. After earning my PhD, I hope to become a college professor at a research university to teach students at the collegiate level and pursue my own research. My main research interests are the genetics of diseases and regeneration.
