Mrs. Bessie Lewitz, 80, of 2717 Peterson Ave, died Saturday in a convalescent home at 5960 Sheridan Rd. She was the widow of Alex, a furrier. Surviving are four sons, Sam, Abe, Jerry, and Sol, and four daughters, Mrs. Mary Lubin, Mrs. Florence Collender, Mrs. Evelyn Gutter, and Mrs. Esther Kagan. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel at 1300 Devon Ave.
