Sidney Degen, age 89, loving and devoted husband for 65 years of Rochelle, nee Strigler; beloved father of Clara, Harold (Shirley), Charlene, and Geri Degen (Richard Nosek); proud grandfather of Paul, Ellen, Tamar, and Gabrielle: dear brother-in-law of Ann (Harold) Brenner and Esther Strigler; and fond cousin of Mary; adored uncle and great-uncle of many. Chapel service Monday (call the chapel for time) at The Weinstein Family Services Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Boulevard (1 block north of Old Orchard). Interment Shalom Memorial Park, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity — service info: 847-256-5700.
