MITTMAN — Herbert I. Died on August 31, 2007, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband for 52 years of Bernice, devoted father of Paul and wife Laura, Joel, Anne and husband Albert, doting grandfather of Arie, Cascade, Julian, Benjamin and Aiden. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Hilda and Mimi, and his many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. We cannot imagine life without him. We will always try to follow the example he set for us as a righteous, generous, and loving man. Donations can be made to UJA in lieu of flowers. Funeral services are on Sunday, September 2, at 1:30 at Sinai Chapels, 162-05 Horace Harding Expressway, Fresh Meadows, NY.
