AZAR, EDWARD P. Jan. 14, 1951 to Oct. 8, 2012 Beloved son of Yitzhak (z"l) and Hannah (z"l) Azariyahu of Herzliya, Israel. Husband of Lillian Heller, loving father of Jamie and Michael Azar, brother of the late Rena Azariyahu, and Uncle of Etai and Maya of Israel, and nephew and cousin to many.
Ed was the founder and CEO of US Logic, a successful manufacturer of military and industrial computers based in San Diego, CA. He was one of the early pioneers in Computer Science, and his expertise facilitated the use of his products in many military communications systems.
Ed and Lillian were founding members of the Rancho Santa Fe Polo Club and members of Chabad Del Mar.
Graveside services were held at El Camino Memorial Park on Friday, October 12, 2012. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to FIDF Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, San Diego Chapter https://www.fidf.org/sslpage.aspx?pid=300
