Eileen M. Berman, nee Kornblet, 84, beloved wife and best friend of Harvey for 58 wonderful years; loving mother of Susan (Les) Mittman and the late Beth Berman, cherished grandmother of William and Marissa Cohen, Alix Golub, Aaron Mittman, and Talia (Scott) Nathan; dear sister of the late Sylvia (Benjamin) Magdovitz and Wade Kornblet; treasured aunt and friend of many. Eileen had a kind, gentle, and loving soul. She was passionate about life, and her family was her greatest joy. Graveside services Friday, 11 a.m. at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Midwest Palliative & Hospice Care Center, 2050 Claire Court, Glenview, IL 60025.
