Doris J. Mittman
GENOA — Doris J. Mittman, 72, of Genoa, died Sunday, June 1, 1997, at St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
She was born June 13, 1924, in Garden Prairie, to Otto and Bertha (Stumple) Fisher. On April 4, 1945, in Elgin, she married Ferdinand Mittman.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert Mittman of Anne; three grandchildren, Melissa Lancaste of Genoa, and Nicholas Mittman and Timothy Mittman, both of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Millie Caldren of California; and a brother, Harold Fischer of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Lawrence, three sisters, and a brother.
Visitation will be at noon until the time of the funeral at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, in the Marengo-Union Funeral Home in Marengo.
Interment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock.
