Catherine M. Mittman

Catherine M. Mittman, (nee Schweisthal) 88, died at her home in Bloomingdale on Wednesday, July 1, 1992. She was the beloved mother of Marion (the late Gene) Downer, Arnold (Lorraine) of Bartlett, Joan (John) DeKeyrel of Bloomingdale, Ruth (Victor) Malinowski of Antioch, and Audrey (Jack) Race of Glendale Heights; loving sister of Betty Schweisthal, Margaret (the late Ed) DeSota, Clara (the late Ed Dieter and the late Alfred Stark, Al (the late Helen) Schweisthal, Marie (the late Bernie) Moisant, Herman (Agnes) Schweisthal, Sr. Mary Ruth Schweisthal, Elmer (Helen) Schweisthal and Eileen (the late Jack) Scanlon; dear grandmother of eleven; great-grandmother of 15 and great-great-grandmother of two. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael.

Catherine was a charter member of Catholic Daughters of America.

Funeral services and mass were held on July 3, 1992. The interment was in St. Isidore Catholic Church Cemetery.
