3805Pleasant Prairie Resident SuccumbsMrs. Pauline Mittman, 41, Dies at Kenosha HospitalMrs. Pauline Mittman, 41 years, wife of Otto Mittman, residing on Highway 31 in Pleasant Prairie township, died at the Kenosha hospital at a late hour Wednesday night following a short illness. She was born in Germany on October 24, 1897, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Adam. She spent her early life in her native land, coming to America in 1923. She resided in Rosedale, Wis., for some months, then came to Kenosha and has made her home in this vicinity since then.
On October 24, 1922, she was united in marriage to Otto Mittman. In 1928, she moved with her family to a farm in Pleasant Prairie township and has been home there since then. She was a member of the Immanuel Methodist church for many years.
She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Elsie and Ruth, at home. She is also survived by her mother in Germany, one brother, and four sisters: Gustav Adam, Mrs. Wilhelmine Steinke, Mrs. Lydia Lentz, Mrs. Frieda Fritz, and Mrs. Martha Masch, all in Germany.
The body will be at the Hansen funeral home until noon on Saturday, when it will be taken to the Immanuel Methodist church to lie in state until the time of the services at 2 o'clock, interment following in the family plot in Hillcrest Cemetery.
