Marie (Mittman) Wisbrock

Marie (Mittman) Wisbrock of Villa Park, Illinois, died October 11, 1981, at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst. She was born on October 30, 1903.

She was a member of St. Alexander’s Catholic Church in Villa Park and of the Women of the Moose, Aurora Chapter 83.

Survivors include, four daughters, Lois (Wohlers) Secor of Aurora, Marjorie Berry of Lombard, Darlene Salgado of Hanover Park, and Virginia Hinrichs of Villa Park; six sons, Frederick at home in Villa Park, George of Indiana, David of Westmont, Bertram Jr., Edward and Earl of Elmhurst; three sisters, Elizabeth Higgins of Riviera Beach, Florida, Agnes Heineman of Huntley, Ill. and Eleanor Stark of Glen Ellyn; two brothers, Ferdinand Mittman of Kingston, Ill. and Frances Mittman of West Chicago; 27 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bertram Sr., in 1966; two brothers, Michael and John Mittman; and her parents, Ferdinand and Mary (Byer) Mittman.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A 10 a.m. mass will be held at St. Alexander’s Church in Villa Park. Burial will be at St. Isidore Catholic Church Cemetery in Cloverdale, IL.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at Steerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. A Women of the Moose ritual will be at 7:30 p.m. The rosary will be in the afternoon.
