Fred Mittmann
Services for Fred Mittmann of Mission Valley will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Doppenschmidt Funeral Home with the Rev. Rob Campbell and Robert Rech officiating, Burial will be at Comal Cemetery.
Mr. Mittmann, 72, died Nov. 23, 1990, at Sclon Medical Center in Austin. The son of Rudolph A. and Lydia (nee Rohde) Mittmann, he was born Oct. 19, 1918, in Comal County.
A lifetime resident of the area, Mr. Mittmann had been a house inspector. He was a war veteran.
Mr. Mittmann is survived by a fiancée, Ellen Smith of New Braunfels; three daughters, Charmayne Sitman, Kathleen Green, and Marilyn Weaver, all of New Braunfels; a son, Robert Mittmann of Gainesville, Fla.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. today until the service time on Monday.
