[4009]David KruegerWATERLOO, Iowa — David William Krueger, 53, Waterloo, formerly of Muscatine, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, at the Covenant Medical Center Emergency Room, Waterloo, after suffering a heart attack.
An informal gathering will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, followed by an 8 p.m. eulogy service at Pearl City Station in Muscatine. The Parrott and Wood Funeral Home, Waterloo, is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Krueger was born Feb. 19, 1949, in Davenport, the son of Harvey and Amalia Mittman Krueger. He married Barbara Jean Stammer Machlan on Dec. 18, 1985, in Davenport.
He was raised in Muscatine.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He drove a truck for more than 20 years, most recently with Aspro Company in Waterloo.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle racing, working on cars, and his yard. In his later years, he enjoyed spending time with his family and granddaughters.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara of Waterloo and Muscatine; a daughter, Sara Burroughs and husband Charlie of Letts; a son, Brian Machlan of Muscatine; a sister, Judy Boyse; and two granddaughters, Ashlie and Amanda Burroughs.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
