EARL HEINEMAN

Funeral services for Earl Heineman, 75, of 14 Grove St., Huntley, were held Tuesday morning at the James A. O’Connor Funeral Home and St. Mary's Catholic Church.

The Rev. Fr. L. Dudley Day conducted the Funeral Mass, followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Heineman was born in Huntley, Sept. 3, 1902, the son of Henry and Mary Conley Heineman. He died in Memorial Hospital for McHenry County, Woodstock, on Saturday, Nov. 12.

For more than 40 years, he owned and operated the Heineman Hardware Store in Huntley.

He was a former Director of the State Bank of Huntley, served on the Huntley School Board for many years, was a former Village Trustee, and was a member of the Huntley Fire Department for an extended period. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.

Surviving are his wife, the former Agnes Mittman, and one sister, Bernice Heineman of Huntley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sons, of which one was in infancy, and the other two, the Rev. Fr. Harold Heineman and Robert Heineman, killed in an airplane crash in 1963; one daughter in infancy; and three brothers.
