U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of WWII. Graveside service Monday, Oct. 13, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 27855 Aurora Rd., Solon. Rose R. Gutentag (nee Feren), beloved wife of 60 years of marriage to the late Jerome Gutentag, cherished and devoted mother of Marsha (Sanford) Mintz and the late Alan Goodwin; loving grandmother of Ginger (William Foster) Gordan, Jeffrey Cohen and foster grandchildren Jack (Nancy) Greminger, Nancy Greminger Henkin; adoring great grandmother of Blaze and Buzz Foster, Matthew, Justin, Jeanne and Chelsi Greminger, Jacob and Zack Henkin; dear great great grandmother of Miley, Maddie and Morgan; dearest sister of the following deceased Ann, Betty, Irene, Myer, Ben, Ethel, Harold, and Maurice.

Always fun-loving, friendly, and accepting of all. Rose helped raise two nephews and remained in their lives as a second mother. A gracious hostess who helped run her husband’s office in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, until illness prevented him from working. Rose will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 27855 Aurora Road.

The family will receive the following services immediately following at Mt. Olive Cemetery gathering room to 3:00 PM.
