I research several family trees, some of which share a surname. The largest is a one-name study of the MITTMAN (or MITTMANN) surname: 22 distinct families so far, from Czernowitz and Galicia to Germany, Buenos Aires, Cleveland and North Carolina. Some of them may yet prove to be related. In my Reunion family file, each family carries its own flag, MITTMAN-1 through MITTMAN-22.
I also research the BEYDA, KARPES, PLEETH, RIETMAN and SENCER families.
The pages below describe the families I’ve written up so far. Everyone else, with sources and notes, is in the Reunion family tree.
