Ira, 92, was born in Brooklyn to Celia and Alexander and died peacefully at home after a short illness. He is survived by his daughter Wendy and son Fred; grandchildren Tory, Hayley, and Oliver; son-in-law Peter; and daughter-in-law Donna. Ira’s grave site will be adjacent to his son Richard, who passed in 1977.
