GOODALE. Elsa (Mittman) Goodale, of Bloomfield, widow of Leland Goodale, died Sunday (March 26, 1995) at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Born in Torrington, he was employed by the Aetna Life Insurance Co., Hartford, for 38 years, retiring several years ago. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Bloomfield, the Aetna Girls Club, and the Aetna 39ers Club. Two sisters predeceased her, Helen Harrison, formerly of Cheshire, and Lydia G. Crossfield, with whom she had shared her home. She is survived by a niece, four nephews, and many grandnieces and nephews. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the First Congregational Church of Bloomfield. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield. There are no calling hours. Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
