CROSSFIELD. Mrs. Lydia G. Crossfield, 86, of 10 Malone Drive, Bloomfield, died Tuesday (Feb. 28, 1995) at St. Francis Hospital. She was the widow of Kendal A. Crossfield Sr. She was born in Torrington on May 9, 1908, daughter of the late Julius and Olga (Arndt) Mittman. She resided in Torrington most of her life and was a waitress at Dick’s Restaurant during the 50s and 60s. She is survived by a son, Kendal A. Crossfield Jr. of Torrington; a step-daughter, June O’Brien of Des Moines, Wash.; and a sister, Elsa Goodale, with whom she made her home in Bloomfield; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a niece; and three nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Doris Dwyer Cooper. A memorial service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at First Congregational Church, Tunxis Avenue, Bloomfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
