Gerald R. Hintz
WALLINGFORD — Gerald R. Hintz, 59, of Wallingford, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 21, 2015.
Gerald was born in Meriden on March 31, 1956, a son of the late Edward F. Hintz and Marjorie Mittman Hintz, and was a Wallingford resident for many years.
He is survived by his sister, Martha H. Jarosz, and her husband, Joseph; his brother, Thomas E. Hintz, and his wife, Laura; and his niece, Amy Hintz, all of Wallingford; his aunt, Edna Duke, of Needham, Mass.; and many cousins and friends.
His family will receive relatives and friends in St. John Lutheran Church in Meriden from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Saturday, May 9. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. in St. John Lutheran Church. The interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery in Meriden. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to St. John Lutheran Church, 520 Paddock Ave., Meriden, CT 06450, or Master’s Manna, 46 North Plains Industrial Road, Wallingford, CT 06492. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext.
