Herman Mittman Dead
Herman C_ Mittman, age 52 years and 24 days of Newkirk. Oklahoma, passed away at 9 o’clock Monday evening at the A. C. hospital, where he had been a patient for the past few days. He is survived by his grown children and his widow.
The funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Adventist church. Interment will be made in the Newkirk Cemetery.

Amelia Mittman Dies
Amelia Mittman, of Arkansas City, a former resident of the Newkirk area, died Monday at noon at St. Mary’s Hospital in Winfield. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Morris Funeral Home in Arkansas City with burial in the Newkirk cemetery. Mrs. Mittman lived nine miles east of Newkirk until 1925, when she moved to Arkansas City, where she has since lived.
