Amelia Mittman Dies
Amelia Mittman, of Arkansas City, a former resident of the Newkirk area, died Monday at noon at St. Mary’s Hospital in Winfield. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Morris Funeral Home in Arkansas City with burial in the Newkirk cemetery. Mrs. Mittman lived nine miles east of Newkirk until 1925, when she moved to Arkansas City, where she has since lived.
