Marian S. Bauer, 73, of St. Charles, IL, formerly of Plano, IL, died Monday, May 5, 1997, at Delnor Community Hospital, Geneva.
She was born February 9, 1924, in Aurora, IL.
Mrs. Bauer was a member of St. John Neumann Church in St. Charles.
After she retired from Lyon Metal Products in 1983, she and her husband owned Crafts by Marian in St. Charles.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Arnold; two daughters, Cathy (Walter) Harrah of Plano, and Diane (Brian) Roper of St. Charles; two sons, Ronald (Bonnie) of Sheridan and Thomas (Judy) of Plano; one sister, Catherine Price of Aurora; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert, and two brothers, John and Ray Mittman.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 1997, at St. John Neumann Church in St. Charles.
Rev. Robert Jones will officiate.
Interment is private at Resurrection Cemetery, Geneva Township.
Visitation will be held 4-8 pm Wednesday at the Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, and Thursday from 10:30 am until funeral time at St. John Neumann Church.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation.
