Karen Marie Zaehringer, 53, of Charleston, SC, wife of John Zaehringer, entered into eternal rest on the morning of December 23, 2011: residence, Charleston, South Carolina. The funeral service for Karen will be held at Seacoast Church, West Ashley Campus, 2049 Savannah Hwy, Suite H, Charleston, on Thursday, December 29, 2011, at 3 pm. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, on Wednesday from 5 pm until 7 pm.

Born October 23, 1958, Karen was the daughter of Audrey June Kehn and the late Lyle E. Kehn. She was a member of James Island Seacoast Church, where she served as a Children’s Ministry Leader, and an assistant manager at All Seasons True Value on Johns Island. She is survived by her husband, John Zaehringer of Charleston, SC; her mother, Audrey J. Kehn of Bettendorf, IA; daughter, Samantha Nicole Zaehringer of James Island; and brother, Russel L. Kehn of Bettendorf, IA.
