Drowned In Pool
MOUNT AIRY (UPI) — Clinton (Scooter) Mittman Jr., 18, a recent graduate of J. J. Jones High School, drowned in a farm pond about two miles north of here Tuesday.
The youth’s body was recovered around 9 p.m. in 10 feet of water about six feet from shore. Mittman was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Mittman Sr., of Rt. 4, Mount Airy.
